◇ Questions about Badge Machines and Parts

Some parts include spares. The quantity of spares differs for each part, so there might be a surplus when combined.
For details, please read the [Confirmation Items Upon Opening] on the back of the delivery slip included with your product.
The machines sold in our shop are not toys but high-quality machines intended for professional use, capable of producing a considerable quantity over a long period. Additionally, performing simple routine maintenance (※ see manual) on your end will ultimately allow you to produce more badges.
However, neglecting regular maintenance or poor storage conditions will cause the machine to wear out faster and may lead to malfunctions.
Our shop only sells machines and parts; we do not offer rental services. Please also note that we cannot provide loaner replacements during repairs.
Please use an inkjet or laser printer. Production is possible even with standard copy paper.

However, thickness is the most crucial factor for successful production, so we recommend selecting paper with a thickness between 0.1mm and 0.15mm. (Some badge machines can use thicker photo paper).

*This table is only a guideline. Depending on the type and material of the paper you use, production may not be possible as indicated in the table. Please understand that we cannot accept returns for this reason.

The badge machines and parts sold in our shop are specifically designed for use with products also sold in our shop. Please note that they are not intended for use in combination with products from other companies.
Please understand that we will not compensate for any damage caused by using machines or parts from other companies.

*If malfunctions occur in the machine or cutter due to production using products from other companies, it will be outside the scope of the warranty.
We do not sell part sets excluding specific items, but it is possible to order each part individually.

Please note that the badge machine is adjusted assuming film will be used. If you produce badges without film, there is a risk they may not be made correctly, and we will not compensate for any disadvantages incurred as a result. Please be aware of this in advance.
There are various types and thicknesses of fabric. Also, fabric is prone to shifting during pressing, and the accumulation of lint and threads is highly likely to cause malfunctions in the machine and cutter. Therefore, we do not recommend using fabric for production.

While some customers may actually use fabric for production, our machines and cutters are primarily designed for use with paper. Please note that we will not compensate for any disadvantages caused by using fabric.

*If malfunctions occur in the machine or cutter due to production using fabric, it will be outside the scope of the warranty.
The 'Normal Type' is designed for use with standard paper, while the 'Photo Type' is designed for production using photo paper (L-size, etc.).
Photo paper is slightly thicker, so it cannot be wrapped cleanly if cut to the normal size.

The cut size for the 'Photo Type' is 56.515mm in diameter, which is smaller than the normal type. This covers only the surface of the shell and does not wrap the paper inside the back part, allowing for successful production even with thick paper.
However, because it doesn't wrap around, when viewed from the side, the silver color of the shell may be slightly visible through the film.

Please note that only the size of the paper being cut changes, so the machine used is the same as the standard one.

*If you are using thin (0.15mm or less) 'glossy photo paper' available in A4 size, etc., rather than thick L-size photo paper, production is generally possible even with the normal cutter.
Basically, a different machine is required for each size. As an exception, the "Automatic Badge Machine" allows for changing sizes and shapes by swapping molds, but due to its nature, it is somewhat expensive. Therefore, for first-time users, we recommend purchasing the standard hand-press type badge machine.
As a general rule, we pack items in the quantities ordered.
If you wish to order quantities exceeding the limit for the 50-piece or 250-piece sets, please contact us separately. (*Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request.)
The shells and back parts are primarily made of steel (tin plate).
They are tin-plated, but due to the nature of the material, rust cannot be completely prevented. Please store them carefully, avoiding moisture.

Some parts are made of plastic; please check the respective product pages for details.
It varies depending on the part, including Japan and the USA. The country of origin is listed on each product page, so please refer to that.
If storing metal parts for a long period, rust may occur if not managed in an appropriate environment.
Specifically, please store them in an environment with as little moisture as possible. For long-term storage, we ask that you manage them properly on your end, such as by using desiccants or rust inhibitors.

Please note that desiccants, by their nature, will release absorbed water molecules back into the air once they exceed their maximum moisture absorption capacity. Therefore, be sure to replace them regularly.

If regular replacement management is difficult, we recommend using a rust inhibitor.
Badge machines and circle punch cutters purchased from our company come with a one-year warranty.
If a malfunction occurs within the warranty period (within one year of purchase), we will repair or replace it based on the terms outlined in the warranty card.
Regarding shipping costs incurred during repair or replacement, the cost of shipping from the customer to us will be borne by the customer. Conversely, the cost of shipping back from us to the customer will be borne by us.

Repairs for machines and cutters outside the warranty period will be charged. In this case, all round-trip shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
The repair cost varies greatly depending on the extent of the malfunction. We will provide a repair estimate and details after receiving the product.
Depending on the severity of the issue, repairs may take some time. In some cases, it may be necessary to order replacement parts, which can make short-term resolution difficult. Please understand this in advance.
The target age is 12 years and older, but please note that the badge machines sold by our company are not toys. Please handle them with sufficient care.
We offer special sets for first-time buyers. These sets include a badge machine, a cutter, and badge parts.
The sets are broadly divided into "Save Value Sets" and "Save Value Junior Sets," the difference being the type of cutter included.

The Save Value Set comes with a "Pro-Spec Cutter," while the Save Value Junior Set comes with a "Stand Cutter." Please note that the Pro-Spec Cutter includes a one-year warranty, whereas the Stand Cutter, being more affordable, is not covered by warranty.

Additionally, each set has variations in the included parts, typically offering three types: double hook pin, safety pin, and clip pin. (*Some sizes or shapes may not have sets available).
Please choose according to your needs and budget. We will proceed with the payment processing, but we may contact you for confirmation to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.
Glue dots are like gel-like double-sided tape, so they do not dry and remain sticky even after time passes.

Due to their nature, they are fine for stationary items like magnets, but for items frequently subjected to force, there is a possibility of position shifting after adhesion, so we do not highly recommend them.
The advantage is high production efficiency as no drying process is needed, but if complete fixation is required, please consider using commercially available strong adhesives.

If the parts sticking out bother you, please adjust the size by slightly folding the edges during adhesion or by cutting them before use.
These are likely marks from the manufacturing or operational checks of the machine. Our company focuses on whether the machine can actually produce badges rather than its appearance, which allows us to offer them at a lower price.

Therefore, these are not considered defects. As long as they do not hinder the production of badges, we consider the product to be 'non-defective'. We appreciate your understanding.
For imported products, since we import them in large quantities at once, there might be slight differences in color or shape depending on the import conditions at that time, the season, subtle variations in material content, etc. However, this does not affect the production of badges.

◇ Questions about Points

Do you possibly have multiple registered accounts?
Points are awarded per registered account, even if the orderer is the same. Please ensure you place orders using the same account as before.

◇ Questions about Accounts

Yes, it is possible, but we may not be able to verify your identity due to the name difference. Please inform us in advance of the name you will be using for the transfer. (*This includes cases of maiden names or family member names.)
We do not provide bank transfer forms. If paying by bank transfer, please transfer directly from your bank or post office. We will ship the product after confirming payment.
Yes, it is possible. Please select Credit Card Payment on the payment method selection screen and enter your card information.

◇ Questions about Free Samples

Product samples are sent via Yu-Mail. Depending on the region, delivery takes 2 to 6 days. Please be aware of this.
We apologize, but product samples are limited to one per eligible product, per person.

◇ Questions about Orders

In addition to online orders, our shop also accepts orders via FAX and email. Once we receive your order, we will send an order confirmation via FAX or email.
However, the point system only applies to purchases made through the shopping cart, so points will not be awarded for orders placed via FAX or email.

Also, orders placed outside the shopping cart may take slightly longer to process. If you are in a hurry, we recommend ordering through the shopping cart.
Upon order completion, an email with the subject line including "Thank you for your order" (ご注文ありがとうございます) is automatically sent from 'info@badge-man.net'.
If you haven't received this email, possible reasons include an incorrect registered email address, spam filters, or the email being moved to your junk/spam folder. Please check these possibilities.
Are the email address and password you entered correct?
If you have forgotten your password, click [Forgot your password?] on the login screen and enter your email address. A temporary password will be sent to the entered email address.
You can log in by entering the temporary password you received. (*After logging in, please be sure to change your password to a new one on My Page.)

[Other possible causes]
*Depending on the type and version of your browser, the site may not display correctly. (Viewing is not possible with older browsers such as Internet Explorer).
*If 'JavaScript' is disabled in your browser settings, please enable it.
*Please ensure 'Cookies' are enabled in your settings.
*If you cannot remove items from the cart or cannot browse the site due to congestion, please try deleting cookies or clearing the cache.
*Depending on your security settings, browsing shopping sites may be restricted. Please check the security settings on your computer.
It is highly likely that your environment or the browser you are using is not compatible with the payment system.
In particular, some older browsers like [Internet Explorer] or [Microsoft Edge (Legacy version)] may not process the payment correctly.

After adding products to the shopping cart, click 'Automatic Quote' (自動お見積り) to display an automatically calculated quote.
If you have any questions or need a detailed quote, please contact us by phone, email, or FAX. Please note that preparing a quote may take some time, so please request it well in advance.

Also, the automatic quote is not saved linked to your customer information, so please keep a copy for yourself.
If orders for the same product concentrate within a short period, or depending on the timing of stock level updates, the product you ordered may become temporarily out of stock (backordered).

If an item is backordered, depending on your payment method, we will either cancel the order or ship it once it arrives. Please understand this in advance. For details, please see How to Shop.
Additionally, for large orders, we may ship in installments depending on stock availability. In that case, we will contact you separately.
For products with sales quantity limits, ordering more than the limit is not possible because stock is low.

*As very many customers are waiting or planning to order, placing multiple separate orders for quantity-limited items is strictly prohibited.
We also cannot accept requests for combined shipping for orders deemed to be from the same customer (household, name, address, phone number, ID, email address). In such cases, the orders will generally be cancelled. Please understand this in advance.

Additionally, for the 50-piece and 250-piece sets, quantity settings with better pricing exist for larger amounts. Therefore, a permanent limit is set: up to 4 sets for the 50-piece packs and up to 3 sets for the 250-piece packs.
